FrontRow Launches New Exciting Series
FrontRow is excited to announce the launch of our “Bring the World to Your Classroom” series.
FrontRow is playing a major role in assisting teachers and students across the country break down walls and cross borders. By removing physical classroom boundaries students are able to share ideas, and connect with peers from anywhere in the world. Demonstrating this is the winning submission from our Show & Tell contest. Mali Bickley, an elementary teacher at W. H. Day Elementary School in Bradford Ontario, was connected to a classroom in Israel. Her entire class was able to interact with each other and share their stories about their hopes and dreams with Israel. You can watch it here http://gofrontrow.com/node/392
FrontRow's first event in this ongoing series is called “Keep the Spirit Alive” Spring 2010”. FrontRow is inviting high school classrooms across the country to connect LIVE with Kristi Richards, World Campion athlete and Freestyle Skier. Kristi will be at her hometown school in Summerland British Columbia and through Adobe Connect and FrontRow, students from across the country will be able to hear and ask her questions. This event is scheduled to take place during the last week in April. Due to Kristi’s busy schedule the final date has not been confirmed. Upon her return from Europe, FrontRow will confirm one of the two possible dates: April 28th or 29th.
FrontRow will be sending out the invitation to register for this event to all high schools across Canada.
